Chris Wade is one of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) lightweight division’s greatest prospects. Having recently attained a first round submission victory over the Ultimate Fighter stand out Mehdi Baghdad via rear naked choke; thus improving his already outstanding record to 4-0 in the UFC. Chris is a skilled, consistent, and intelligent athlete and he is hoping to establish a high frequency of fights for this coming year as he stated in an interview after his fight at UFC Fight Night 81. Also stated in that interview was his interest in a bout against Sage Northcut. He expressed that he in no way feels any animosity towards him, however, there seems to be a lot of “undue hype” around Northcut and for Chris Wade that victory would undoubtedly swing some of that hype in his direction. Chris believes himself to be “a terrible matchup” for Sage Northcut and also for many others in the lightweight division. That being said, if all goes according to plan and Chris Wade is offered to fight again soon it will certainly be a fight that you don’t want to miss!
