It was a great night of fights at XFE 24 which took place at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem PA.  Once again, the Long Island MMA fighters represented their team and walked away victorious.

First up was Bantamweight Alfred Jones who set the pace with a 2nd round TKO win over Tyler Feist.  Alfred found success early on with shots to the body, solid knees, and powerful kicks that took their toll on his opponent.  This brings Alfred’s amateur MMA record to a perfect 3-0 with all three fights coming by way of knockout.

Next up for Long Island MMA was Lightweight Joey Massaro who controlled his fight with a nice mix of striking, take downs, and solid ground and pound.  Joey was able to finish his opponent Kyle Allworthy with a slick armlock in the third round to secure his victory.  This brings Joey’s amateur MMA record to a perfect 3-0.

Both of these fighters performed great. Their coaches and teammates are proud of them, great job guys!
