Galvao vs Dantas 2!!
The long anticipated matchup between Bellator Bantamweight Champion Marcos “Loro” Galvao and Eduardo Dantas is set for the main event of Bellator 150 on February 26th 2016. This bout was supposed to occur back in October of 2015, but Dantas had to pull out because of an injury, postponing the title fight until further notice. This will be Galvao’s first title defense, and everyone is excited to see him back in action. The first time these two met the roles were reversed, Dantas was the champion, and Loro was the challenger. That was back in February of 2013, where Dantas had finished Galvao with a knockout in the second round. Since then, Dantas successfully defended the Bellator Bantamweight title once more, but then later lost it to Joe Warren. Loro on the other hand, after losing his fight to Dantas, has been on a tear with 4 wins in a row, his last fight he defeated Joe Warren with a kneebar to win the title for himself. Marcos “Loro” Galvao has been training out of New York and can be seen with the team at Long Island MMA, owned by UFC fighter Ryan LaFlare. Loro has been training very hard with some of the best fighters in world, working with many UFC fighters like LaFlare, Chris Wade and Denis Bermudez. Now that Galvao is the champ, and Dantas the challenger, you can bank on the outcome being a lot different than the first time. This is one Bellator fight that you will NOT want to miss.
