Brock Lesnar has his sights set on UFC 200!!!

It was announced this past weekend that Brock Lesnar will be returning to the Octagon in July at UFC 200. Brock has not stepped foot inside the Octagon since UFC 141 in December of 2011, where he suffered a loss to Alistair Overeem. Lesnar feels that the decision to retire from a career in mixed martial arts was one of the only decisions he has regretted in his life, and it seems he is eager to come back to the UFC. Apparently Lesnar was the one to reach out to Dana White posing the question, “What are the chances of having Brock Lesnar on the card at UFC 200?” Right now those chances are looking good! In the 4 plus years since Lesnar retired from the UFC he has been rebuilding his body that suffered from Diverticulitis. This has been a problem the Lesnar lived with for years, causing him severe pain and forcing him to pull out of fights in the past. Diverticulitis is when pouches form in the wall of the colon, and these pouches become inflamed or infected. It is a rare disease, but the terrible symptoms can last for weeks. Lesnar says that Diverticulitis was the cause for many of the problems he faced inside the octagon, and now that he has it under control he is in the best shape of his life. Brock Lesnar is set to take on Mark Hunt at UFC 200. It seems fitting that his return will be held during this card, if you remember 7 years ago, Lesnar headlined UFC 100 which is still the most sold UFC pay-per- view to date. It seems that UFC 200 is turning out to be quite the line-up, with 3 Titles on the line, multiple bouts starring some of UFC’s biggest names and previous champions, and now the return of such an iconic contender in the UFC’s Heavyweight Division.
