Enrique Lopez
Enrique Lopez is an undefeated professional heavyweight kickboxer and striking coach at Long Island MMA's Long Island City location. A homegrown LIMMA athlete who developed through the West Babylon program, Enrique brings the same technical striking, pressure, movement, and accountability he uses in professional competition directly into his classes.
Developed at LIMMA. Proven in Professional Kickboxing.
Enrique's entire fighting development took place inside the Long Island MMA system. He trained and competed out of the West Babylon location before eventually taking on a coaching role at LIMMA's Long Island City academy.
He is now an undefeated professional kickboxer competing in the heavyweight division. That competitive experience gives Enrique a clear understanding of which striking concepts hold up when pace, pressure, fatigue, and resistance become real.
His classes reflect that experience. Enrique is high-energy, demanding, and detail-oriented, using bag work, pad work, and structured partner drills to develop power, conditioning, timing, footwork, and technical consistency.
Enrique teaches the same kind of practical, pressure-tested striking that helped take him from training at LIMMA to undefeated professional heavyweight competition.
Purpose, Pressure & Technical Consistency
Enrique's classes are demanding for a reason. The objective is to develop striking mechanics that stay reliable as athletes move faster, work harder, and deal with increasing pressure. Every drill has a purpose beyond simply getting tired.
Build Clean Technique
Power is more useful when it comes from repeatable mechanics. Enrique emphasizes technically sound striking that athletes can reproduce consistently.
Move Like a Fighter
Footwork is one of Enrique's defining strengths. Students learn how positioning, angles, balance, and movement create better opportunities to attack while keeping them defensively responsible.
Maintain Skill Under Pressure
Bag work, pads, partner drills, and conditioning are used to challenge athletes without abandoning technical standards as fatigue and intensity increase.
Build a Complete Striking Foundation
Enrique's background makes striking the natural focus of his coaching. His classes develop the mechanics, movement, conditioning, timing, and pressure awareness needed to become a more capable stand-up martial artist.
